Summer League Tracker
Every Pistons Summer League game, rookie stat line, and prospect signal worth tracking — from Ebuka Okorie and Ugonna Onyenso to the rest of the Vegas board. Updated by hand as games tip; no fake recaps, no fake box scores.
The two players Vegas is about
Updated Pistons Fit framing now that Okorie and Onyenso are actually Pistons. Full breakdowns on each profile.

Ebuka Okorie
- Pull-up jumper vs. NBA-length closeouts — does the 35% from college hold?
- On-ball reps as the primary handler — pace, turnovers, late-clock decisions.
- Defense against starting-caliber Summer League guards (Philon, etc.) — can he stay in front without fouling?

Ugonna Onyenso
- Pure rim protection — blocks per 36, vertical contests, how often he gets back in transition.
- Hands and finishing on simple roll-and-dump reads — does he catch and finish, or does the offense die when it gets to him?
- Foul rate against Summer League athletes — can he stay on the floor for 20+ minutes?
Four confirmed games, then knockout

The four story lines we're tracking
Vegas isn't a sample size — but it's the first time we get to see Detroit's rookies in NBA uniforms against NBA athletes.
The Stanford tape says 35% from three on real volume. Does it scale against NBA closeouts and the longer line? If yes, he's a bench-creator floor. If not, the on-ball burden gets harder.
186 pounds is light for an NBA lead guard. We want to see him stay in front of Philon, fight over screens, and not give up the corner-three rotation behind him.
Blocks per 36, vertical contests, and — more importantly — the speed of his second jump. The second-round bet only pays if the rim presence translates against NBA athletes.
Can he catch a roll pass and finish? Does he have any short-roll passing read at all? Anything beyond zero offensive utility raises his outcome floor.
